Survival won at the Creepy Tree Film Festival (Winter 2020)!
I'm excited to announce that my "Survival" illustration has won Best Horror Art-Single: Creepy Commercial Appeal at The Creepy Tree Film Festival (2020 Winter Festival Season). The official announcement can be seen here: https://www.creepytreefilmfestival.com/winter2020
"Survival" was created to symbolize persistence. While I did this one in my style, it's a bit different from what I normally create because it's probably the first piece I've done that focuses more on the survivor than the monsters. I made the decision in the beginning to not include any of the monster's faces to keep the focus on the survivor.
The Creepy Tree Film Festival honors more than just film. They select creations from many horror creators including: photographers, musicians and artists. I'm happy to be a part of a group that supports so many different kinds of horror.
